I've been learning on my own since I was about nine years old; that's when I really took a serious interest in my artistic abilities. I fancy myself pretty well versed in the ways of Photoshop and I'm always looking to learn more. Nothing makes a girl happier than a buttload of fun photoshop tutorials, of course. My style is still in the works, but it's firmly somewhere in the eastern style of animation and I'm okay with that.
By day, I'm a resturaunt worker; by night, I'm a website designer and administrator for a local vacuum business. I do art on the side.
(Can you actually say that? That you DO art? Oh well.)
- Operating System: Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition
- My Interests: Photoshop, drawing, writing, video games, movies, television, long walks on the beach, and poking dead things with a stick. (Man, that's been used to death.)
- Artists I like: My favorite artist in the whole wide world is Ayami Kojima. (She does all the artwork for the Castlevania games, but mostly her own original works.) I hope to someday have a fraction of her talent.
- Photographer I like: None that jump to mind.
- Writers I like: Jim Butcher, Rob Thurman, Laurell K. Hamilton, Tanya Huff
- Styles I like: Extremely varied.
- Movies I like: Comedy movies are my favorite, but I'm a sucker for a good action flick and the occasional romantic comedy. (Oh, shush.)
- Bands I like: Nine Inch Nails/Trent Reznor. Period.
- Music I like: Anything but country...except Shania Twain. Does she even count anymore? I don't know. I'm an old school girl at heart and still listen to a lot of early Pop, but my true passion lies in Electronica and Metal.
- Games I like: Metal Gear, Resident Evil, Castlevania, Ryu Ga Gotoku, Fatal Frame
- Music Player: Creative Zen
After growing rather weary of DeviantArt, I decided to move my artistic prowess here. Artician looks like a neat art community, but only time will tell, right? So, I hope to learn more about the artists here and eventually become part of the community. -Nio...
